The recently inaugurated Blue Frog, in Mumbai, India, is a complex which mixes a club, restaurant, lounge, sound stage, recording studio and sound lab. And it's precisely the inside of the Blue Frog Club that is most impressive. Created by Chris Lee and Kapil Gupta, from Chris Lee Architects and Contemporary Urban, who were able to mix elements in a perfect way and built a sort of contemporary Roman amphitheatre.
With organic lines and a structure composed of circles distibuted into various levels of height, the tables become true cabines, that, although they are exclusive, interlinked. All thanks to the wavy surface, made of translucent resin, with internal lighting that changes colour, creating a spectacular visual effect. The fantastic mahogany cabinetmaking work gave a cosy touch to the cabines, that hold from 4 to 10 people.
Another characteristic of this project is the way in which the tables were placed. Each one was spread over such levels and positions, so that everyone has the same view of the stage or the dance floor, without the interference of other people. Stylish, with excellent food and drink choices, first-rate music and countless other attractions, have made the Blue Frog one of the most talked-about night clubs in the world.
